In a complex environment such as a large bank, introducing new technology can be challenging. The IT landscape is large and complicated, the stakes are high and there are many stakeholders. Ensuring that all information is easy to understand, accessible and motivating is crucial to keep everyone dedicated to the success of the program.
Contracted by Appythings, I was part of the roll-out team of API-first at one of the Netherlands largests banks. With an 8 man team of change managers and technical experts we set up an API-first Centre of Enablement. I was responsible for the development of the communication strategy and assets, as well as developer engagement. Besides that I conducted stakeholder interviews and developed an activation plan. Furthermore I created all communication materials: program visual identity, storytelling, presentations, blogposts, infographics and more.
